Mr CK Wong, Managing Director of Topromise Co Ltd has recently given an interview with a HK famous weekly magazine, East Week. CK has shared the latest development of the group in the article.
From decision-making, salesmanship and marketing, CK acts like a core person in Topromise. Developing DAB radio is Topromise’s starting point. Risk is unavoidable in every economy. After receiving the first order which was up to 120,000 units of radio from a HK-based DAB radio station, DBC, the company had faced a challenge because of DBC could not be able to settle a huge payment on time. However, where there is risk, there is reward, CK emphasized.
CK had thought about a way to survive. He tried to exhibit the signature DAB radio DB-348 at CEBIT in Germany at that moment, though it was the only one finished product to be shown. However, this was a turning point because DAB market has been flourishing in Europe. Many serious buyers were placing orders and keeping good relationship with each other. Consequently, some of the buyers who met CK in Germany have become Topromise’s long term supporters now.
While the orders from Europe are growing steadily, we will expand to accessories production and further develop ODM service as both demands are sharply increasing. Direct dealing with retailers and various brands is our long-term business plan, CK said.
